The ZilberHaar Pocket Beard Brush is made in Germany by master craftsmen from a solid piece of pear wood.

The bristles are second cut boar bristles making a stiff but less aggressive and yet effective and high quality beard brush.

The brush size was designed so you can keep it in the office, in the car, in your travel kit or wherever you need to maintain a great beard look.

When we worked with the brush makers to craft the ZilberHaar Soft Pocket Beard brush we wanted to keep with our tradition of quality and natural feel.

The brush isn't lacquered but oiled.

The bristles are all boar bristles. Boar bristles are the stiffest natural bristles one can use, by using the second cut of the bristles we've made a brush that takes advantage of their qualities but softer to the skin.

As your beard grows the skin below your beard produces oils that keep the skin hydrated which helps the follicles grow your beard.

But the skin also replaces itself and needs some help to get rid of dry skin. Brushing your beard daily isn't just about making it look nice, it is essential to exfoliate your skin beneath the beard.

Pearwood arrives from sustainable forests and is allowed to dry. To make a good beard brush this can take up to eight weeks. The key is to achieve the right humidity level inside the wood.

Boar bristles are checked to ensure ensure quality. They need to have the right length and the right stiffness. Soft bristles are separated as needed. The bundles are then trimmed to size.

The pearwood handles that have been carved, hand sanded and verified are then oiled and laser etched. Once ready they are sent through the tufting machine. Final controls are then done by hand.
