Carved from a single piece of sandalwood the ZilberHaar Beard Comb is a perfect comb for men with beards needing some quality care. Spacing of the comb's teeth, sanded and polished for an excellent hold, not to mention the natural fragrance of sandalwood.

In creating this beard comb we wanted to have something that was as efficient as it was a pleasure to own. Sandalwood is a dense wood that has some weight. Polished to a shine after carving and sanding makes this a brilliant wooden comb with a persistent sandalwood scent.

Combing one's beard is the best way to untangle and straighten one's beard. When a beard grows a certain length one needs a comb to get one's beard under control. The comb helps settle the beard into the general position one intends and remove any "knots".

Once it is combed is when using a beard brush helps. While a brush detangles the beard, a brush is very efficient at exfoliating and caring for the skin beneath the beard.

The green Sandalwood arrives at the factory and is let to dry by natural means. The wood needs to achieve the right humidity level before being treated and cut to avoid future warping of the wood.

After the wood has been cut into strips the teeth are cut into the comb. Each tooth is 1mm wide and the space between each tooth is 2mm wide. This permits the beard comb to glide through a beard without pulling on hairs.

After the combs are cut, sanded and polished they are quality checked to ensure the wood hasn't warped, that the teeth are properly attached and that the comb meets our ZilberHaar standards.
