Are you vegan + cruelty-free? Reef friendly?

Yes! All of our products are vegan and cruelty-free. We are proud to have received the Leaping Bunny Seal as well. We not only avoid reef-harming chemical screens, but also avoid the top 6 offenders in skin- and earth-disrupting ingredients.

Are your products gluten free?

While we do not use gluten, we cannot claim they are Gluten-Free because our raw materials and our manufacturing facility are not guaranteed free of gluten or potential gluten cross-contamination.

You don’t use fake fragrance, so why do some of your products smell so good?

We use a custom combination of plant extracts and oils to achieve the scent in the products we’ve designated “naturally scented.” Our extract and oil blends are both Ecocert + COSMOS approved.

Are your sunscreens safe for children?

Yes! We created Solara for our own children's sensitive skin, so the majority of our products are Pediatrician and Derm approved. Per FDA guidelines, sunscreen is for children 6 months or older and you should consult your pediatrician before use.
