Why violet ? and will it turn my hair purple?

Violet sits opposite yellow on the color wheel, so it cancels yellow warmth. Used as directed, Pearl Blonde refines to a clean beige-pearl ? not purple. Leave the mask on longer only for more correction, never for a violet cast.

What's the difference between the shampoo and the mask?

Always use them together ? that's the system. The pH 6?7 shampoo cleanses and pre-deposits violet to prime hair; the pH 3.5?5.5 mask brings richer violet to deepen correction, smooth the cuticle and seal tone. The most even result comes from both.

How often should I use it ? will it dry my hair?

A toning shampoo cleanses deeply and can feel slightly drying ? that's why Pearl Blonde is a system. Always follow it with the mask: low pH, hyaluronic acid and panthenol re-hydrate, smooth and seal. Used 2?3× a week, hair feels soft, not stripped.

Will it lighten my hair?

No ? Pearl Blonde is a toner, not a lightener. It neutralizes yellow so blonde looks brighter, cleaner and more pearl, but it won't lift or change your level. For a lighter base, lighten first, then tone to refine.
