FUTURO Night Plantar Fasciitis Sleep Support FAQ

The support is adjustable and designed to fit most sizes but, it is best to measure your ankle to confirm that it will fit. This product is designed to fit ankles from 8" to 15" in circumference when measured approximately 2 inches above the ankle bone.

When plantar fasciitis keeps you from running and doing the things you love, recovery can't come fast enough. The FUTURO Night Plantar Fasciitis Sleep Support cradles your foot in the recommended position to help you feel better in the morning. The design doesn’t distract as you're drifting off, and the breathable, lightweight materials help keep you cool throughout the night. Help your foot rest while you sleep with the comforting support of the FUTURO Night Plantar Fasciitis Sleep Support.

Loosen fasteners on calf and foot straps. Slide foot through calf strap so support rests on top of foot.

Adjust position of support so calf strap is approximately 2 inches above the ankle bone. Adjust calf strap from both sides to provide a firm, yet comfortable fit.

Center wide portion of foot strap under ball of foot. Attach fastener on wider end of foot strap to top of support. Pull toes up, wrap remaining strap around foot and attach fastener.

If tension and stress on the plantar fascia become too great, small tears can occur in the fascia. Repetitive stretching and tearing can cause the fascia to become irritated or inflamed.

- Plantar fasciitis typically causes stabbing pain in the bottom of the foot near the heel.

- The first few steps after awakening are usually the most painful but pain can also be triggered by long periods of standing or rising from sitting.

- As movement increases, the pain normally decreases, but might return after long periods of standing or after rising from sitting.

- The pain is usually worse after exercise, not during it.

Because everyone’s feet, ankles and sleeping style are different, it may take a few tries to adjust the straps to get the fit just right for you so that it stays in place while you sleep at night. The key to good support is a firm yet comfortable fit around the ball and arch of the foot. Here are some tips to try:

This product is not intended to be load bearing e.g. to be worn while standing or walking; the intent is to rest. If you need to get up to walk at night, we recommend taking the support off beforehand.

String, lint and other materials get trapped on the hook and loop surfaces, clogging them up so they don’t mesh together. Start by picking out any pieces you see stuck to the material. Then you can gently clean the loop side with something soft but firm, like a toothbrush. You could add warm water and a mild detergent to the toothbrush head and scrub the hook side as well.
